It is planned to complete the repair of the bridge at the 94 km of the M-3 Ukraine ahead of schedule

As soon as in early August it is planned to finish repairs at the bridge across the Istya River located at the 94 km of the M-3 Ukraine in the Kaluga region. Earlier the bridge was in a state of disrepair, so it was decided to start the works without further delay.  This is vitally important, given the high traffic intensity along this section. Complying with the operating timetable, the work should be finished by the end of August only, yet the road builders expect to complete it early next month.
At present, workers at the bridge apply protective layer; pretty soon, waterproofing will be provided, and the old roadbed replaced. The left lane is now under construction; then it will be followed by the right one. Road builders consolidate their efforts to complete the scope of repairs and lift traffic restrictions as soon as possible.
Driving down the highway under construction requires greater concentration on the part of each motorist. It is important to stay fully attentive and keep your distance to avoid tailgating, since even a minor accident can actually disrupt the traffic.
It is possible to bypass the area of repairs at 92 km towards Borovsk via Maloyaroslavets and at 106 km via Varshavskoe highway. We ask motorists for understanding about the current repairs and apologize for the temporary inconvenience.
